Hello. I’m new to Air Gunning and have gone down a rabbit hole while trying to gather as much information as possible to be as knowledgeable as possible. You by far have taught me more in this video than any of the many of dozens of others I’ve seen. You have a natural ability to teach and touched on things that made complete sense. I can’t fully explain or emphasize how much more comfortable I feel now going into this because of your videos. Thank you very much for making content like this! 😊

This makes no sense to me. I have an Air Arms S510R and zeroed at 20 metres. I find that if I then shoot at 10m I have to apply hold over.

I just purchased an fx impact Mark II but it comes with the smaller magazines is it true since this video was made that FX has improved the magazine for slug use cuz the slugs are quite loose in the old magazines?

I was wondering if you had a 500 mm FX impact barrel and you wanted to increase it to 600 mm can you just buy the liner and just get a barrel extender to save money?

I have two HW97KTs. I love them both, but I also have a Feiwerkbau 124 Sport. And I have to say, it outshines the HW97s. It is lighter because it is a breakbarrel, and it is more accurate than the 97s, and it is more accuate than my Air ArmsTX200.

My scope was made for my rifle, and the setup pamphlet is specific: 30 metres. That minimises need for hold-under and hold-over between 10 and 40 metres - it's within an inch. But that's the Far Zero Point, where the trajectory is descending through the cross-hairs. Few people realise that the Near Zero Point, where the trajectory is rising through the cross-hairs, is about halfway to the Far Zero Point. So your recommendation to zero to 15 metres will also zero the scope to about 30 metres, leaving only a little fine adjustment to be done on the 30 metre range. Good call. You also need to re-zero if you change pellet weight or profile because those will affect trajectory.

Appreciate the honesty,the gun is good,it can get jammed but it survived torture test which is 3xCO2 don't worry I oiled it...People can complain about it but I don't care I just like fun anyway 50 guns is plenty

Funnily enough you have your rifles in 1st and seccond... The fx crown being over engineered for sub 12...isnt all fx rifles over engineered a rifle with ehat 30+ o rings in it... and the red wolf an electric rifle yet again over engineered as its electric... All great rifles but the best 2 are the dayststes .. Imo its a tie depending on whats your preference Redwolf & wolverine Then it would be a toss up between the impact and crown

The safety is only annoying until you get used to it flicking it off before you take the shot becomes automatic and really isn't a problem unless you have a problem with learning and "problem" solving.

Did he say a .22 drops more because it's heavier? Idiot. It drops more because, due to the slower velocity, it takes longer to reach the intended target, giving gravity more time to act upon it.

It was a pain you have to use the same length pellets on the early ones I used Ely magnums in the single load side 😂😂😂

With a scope especially you are going to have 2 zeros. You may mess some people up if they try to zero the wrong zero without knowing theres 2 zero points. They may over adjust their scope and break their scope and ve sending pellets flying high

Or you coukd just look up_make a drop chart and remember how many inches. Since youre saying the reticle will vary based on the zoom(not true of every scope) much easier to just know how many inches and estimate size/distance.

I’ve had one of these for years a MK 1 still going strong, and in all that time never shot the end off but unfortunately I dropped and broke it today. I went on the combro site and bought the bits to repair it and it came to £7.50 with p&p, these chronos are amazing value and easily repaired.

What about if Reticle doesn’t change in size when zooming

The price difference at the moment in 2024, is 200 quid for the Tx200 Mk3 in Beech, and the HW97K in standard Beech stock. That's quite a lot actually and, having owned a TX200, I have no idea why it's even still on the market with such a huge price difference!? The best part of having a TX200 is how easy it is to work on, maybe that is enough for a devoted fan base? Hope they never stop making them!
